Moon – Grimaldi and Mare Humorum

Photos of two locations on the surface of Moon – Grimaldi and Mare Humorum.

Grimaldi “basin” is originally a crater on the surface of Moon. It is eroded by many impacts and thus it is surrounded by irregular ring of hills, ridges and peaks, rather than a typical crater rim.

Another interesting location is Mare Humorum.

Photos are taken via small camera attached to my Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope.
