Moon and Mars

Moon and Mars optically visible very close to each other in the evening sky.

Very nice and photogenic conjunction of Moon and Mars in the evening sky of Thursday, October 18, 2018. I have used my camera Olympus SH-2 to take the photo below. The photo was post-processed in Gimp. I had to simply reduce brightness and the levels of white.
