Dr. Jozef Kozár is a scientist and writer, studying planets, the Solar System, and robotic space exploration missions. Jozef is the author of nine books, and several hundred articles published in various scientific and popular magazines, a former public speaker, and a documentary movies/TV guest.

Jozef earned his Ph.D. in the field of aerospace from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia (EU) in 2016. During his following career, he completed a professional university course in planetary science – the science of the Solar System, at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, California (USA) in 2019.

Jozef’s Mars research and the “GNSS for Mars” project became well known especially in 2015 when it attracted many local and worldwide media (EU, USA, Australia). Jozef works as an independent scientist with membership at the Planetary Society (Pasadena, CA) but is open to a new interesting affiliation (give a tip). He resides in the Czech Republic (EU) but is active internationally.

Dr. Jozef Kozár je vedec a publicista. Jeho hlavným zameraním je planetárna veda s využitím kozmických sond, výskum planét a slnečnej sústavy. Jozef je autorom deviatich kníh a niekoľkých stoviek článkov publikovaných v rôznych vedeckých a populárnych časopisoch, bývalý rečník a hosť dokumentárnych filmov/TV.

V roku 2016 Jozef obhájil Ph.D. doktorát na Technickej univerzite v Košiciach, vo výskume zameranom na koncept satelitného navigačného systému pre Mars. Počas svojej ďalšej kariéry absolvoval odborný univerzitný kurz planetárnych vied – vedy o slnečnej sústave na California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, Kalifornia (USA).

Jozefov výskum Marsu a projekt „GNSS pre Mars“ sa stal známym najmä v roku 2015, kedy zaujal množstvo domácich i svetových médií (EÚ, USA, Austrália). Jozef v súčasnosti pôsobí ako vedec bez afiliácie s členstvom v Planetary Society (Pasadena, California, USA). V súčasnosti žije v Českej republike, ale pôsobí medzinárodne.
